Chuck Adoodledoo Holding Golden Egg

Chuck holding the Golden Egg.

The Golden Egg is a rare and valuable egg that grants the owner of it special powers. It allowed Chuck Adoodledoo, the owner of the egg, to transform into 12 different animal themed forms during the events of Chuck Chicken.

It was laid by Chuck's great grandfather so his powers were not lost forever. It was hidden so well, only a scroll claiming the egg would be revealed by a signal in the sky was found in his former residence. Eventually, a signal was found revealing it was hidden in a volcano named "Big Beak Mountain" around the time it became active and risked destroying the city in Rocky Perch Island.

Chuck and his partners, Flick and Wing investigated and discovered Dex and Don were damaging the volcano using a vehicle attempting to find it. They got caught in a battle and Chuck and his friends retreated into a cave where they fell into a lava pool and Wing accidentally dropped his bag into the lava, incinerating it. Just as he started to despair from losing his bag with the helicopter machine in it and his escape tool, the mythical Fire Phoenix appeared and offered the trio one of two bags. Flick asked for both but Chuck rejected this and asked for Wing's bag, which unfortunately crumbles into ash dust. It is then that the Fire Phoenix grants Chuck a replacement item in the form of the Golden Egg itself. She then drops out into the pool, but not before popping out a bit to throw a scroll revealing its powers to Chuck, allowing them to escape.

Golden Egg

The Golden Egg as it appears in Chuck Chicken: Power Up.

In Chuck Chicken Power Up, it hatched into Little Phoenix. Its ability to transform Chuck into various animal forms have been lost. However, the Phoenix appears to link to the Nexogear that Chuck acquired between the original series and Power Up, giving him special discs that emulate the abilities from the original series.

Trivia[]

  • The hatching of the egg in Chuck Chicken Power Up causing it to lose its powers seems to contridict the legend in "The Magic Egg" episode. Firstly, this ruins the old man's attempt to immortalize his powers. Second, the egg being revealed to be fertile suggests the Fire Phoenix may be the actual layer of the egg, both being phoenixes, when the old man was a regular chicken.
